I just recieved this very odd e-mail from Drew (the guitarist of GLU):
I'm writing this with tears in my eyes,My family and I came down here to London United Kingdom for a short vacation unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed,all cash,credit card and cell were stolen off us but luckily for us we still have our passports with us.
We've been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping the issues at all and our flight leaves in less than 3hrs from now but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills,I'm freaked out at the moment.
I need a quick loan from you

it seems that he sent this to everyone in his contact list... did anyone else get this? Does anyone ever talk to him through e-mail other than me? I replied and am waiting for a response...
I'll help him if this is ligit, but something about it feels weird... anyone else?
well, 8 hours later I got this e-mail from the real Drew:
hey everybody,
my email was hacked earlier today. if you've received an email requesting money, please ignore.
rest assured, i'm not stranded in the UK needing money.
some are receiving this email twice, i'm sorry 'bout that, i neglected to include my entire contact list.
I was on here last night and read the above posts for the very first time. Today, not even 30 minutes ago, some clown tried to do the EXACT same thing to me! I mean, the wording was exactly the same! He was trying it through the chat box on Facebook. I agreed to help him ( "him" supposedly being my cousin) but only after he read a link I was going to post for him. He agreed and I posted a link to this page, telling him to read the first posting very closely. As soon as he got the link it took about a minute for my "cousin" to go offline... Wanker. Thanks for posting that story though. It definitely came in handy!!!
