It was a nice reminder of how good David could be when left to his own devices. The songs manage to be both sparse and dense at the same time, which speaks well to the craft behind them.
Can't believe that record is already creeping up on eight old. On sort of a down note, it's also a reminder that I've been a fan of David's after his death for nearly as long as I was a fan while he was alive. Ugh.
