my friend had ungod, wither blister burn and peel darkest days...and the fourth album which I try to forget since their sound took a complete left turn there...

...and I enjoyed each of the first three outings, as well.

The music video with the crazy guy chasing the chick was pretty cool too...

Andy Kubiszewski(part of the founding of EB) went on to play drums for SW.
he also was the drummer for TheThe for a period of time, I met Andy in 1998 when David introduced me to him when they toured together. I was more in awe of him because of his stint with TheThe than I was as the drummer of SW.

I was, and still am, a huge SW fan. I enjoy and have respect for all 4 albums, as different as they may be.

i have (in my broad collection) a bootleg called "save me", and i am pretty sure that it is one of the best live recordings of any band ever.

Is it an entire show or just 1 song, cause if it is just 1 song then that would be "Bluer Than Midnight"....?

I saw them once on the Dusk tour and twice on the NakedSelf tour.... absolutely AMAZING

I love Stabbing Westward.

Andy the drummer played on Prick's last album called The Wreckard, and was spotted in Cleveland recently (from what I've heard) collaborating with Kevin McMahon from Prick on a new Prick Album.

For anyone unfamiliar w/ Prick they were on Trent Reznor's label back in the 90's and he produced their first album. Prick is basically Kevin McMahon which was/is the main person in the Cleveland band Lucky Pierre which Trent Reznor played in for a short time in the 80's. They toured with the NIN/Bowie tour in the mid 90's.

ya... that went well....

I enjoyed a few of Stabbing Westwards songs, but over-all I found them too weak and uninteresting. I never really "felt" their music and they ended up being one of the more forgetable industrial acts in my life.

I've never heard of JCS, but I look forward to hearing what they come up with.

even though their 3rd album "Re.Present" (2004) went under the radar commercially, it still is just as amazing as the first 2 albums.
