New song influenced by David/GLU

Post by plastinum »

I just finished a song up that Dave listened to last year and had a little input. Listening to it I think you can hear the David influence and a bit of depeche mode maybe. You can listen to it on myspace once they get it processed (whenevr that will be) or on soundclick. the name of the song is "No One Said That"

to listen go to:

oh yeah I guess I should add that by "input" on david's part I meant he suggested some tweaks on the mix and such...he doesn't perform on the song or anything

This song is amazing man, I listened to it on my speakers, then on my headphones twice, and I think it is really amazing. Probably out of all of the songs I've listened to, I think this one takes the cake. I'm sure David would have said the same thing. The lyrics are a lot like his style, it would have been amazing having you two jamming togather.
I give up easily, cant speak so freely, wont someone release me just this time around.
Rest in Peace David.

what the hell do I say to that? Thats gotta be one of (if not the most) kickass cool things anyone has ever said about one of my tracks...damn that's awesome..thanks..hell thanks for listening with and without headphones..man to jam with Dave would have been just too much..I almost got the chance once...too bad. glad the influence dave had on me goes thru my music somewhere/how....I feel proud to carry some of it onward in some way...no where near his calibre but in some way. Thanks again..that totally made my week.

It would go nice on the tribute(David would have appreciated it im sure.), but I dont know. I kinda like the idea of the tribute being just glu songs.

I agree it should be only GLU songs on the tribute album..people might be thinking "when did Dave write that song/ what album is it on? lol...but anyways yeah I am glad to have something he influenced appreciated by people none-the-less
