win a dinner date with God Lives Underwater!!!

Post by Jawa242 »

this was such a funny night...

yes, back in 1996 WBCN had WIN DINNER WITH GLU contest where 1 radio listener and a friend won a sit down dinner at a restaurant with the band before the show.

man, dave's reaction to this still cracks me up.

Its the good times and his laughs that I sometimes keep forgetting...

I am coming up to writing this particular night in the book, thats made me think of it.

*SPOILER WARNING*

Jawa just made puppy dog eyes at David all night. He became a bit forward, using innuendo and trying to blow in his ear. Turned off, he moved to his second pick, Jeff. While Jeff seemed mildly interested, he just toyed with him. Jeff enjoys attention from males, but would never actually sleep with one. After a night of dissapointment, Jama went home, popped in his tape of Empty, and proceeded to rub one out.
...and we're stoppin' at your mom's.
