Today I listened to an album that I haven't touched in years. Infliction by Scheer. I forgot how much I loved this CD.
They were a hard rock band with a girl singer who kind of sounded like the one from the Sundays. One funny review called them Pantera in bedroom slippers. The music wasn't nearly that hard but it gives you an idea of their mix of hard and soft. Loud noisy guitar and this sweet sounding Irish chick.

Primus was my favorite band in like 5th grade until like 8th grade when I started listening to other stuff. I hadn't listened to them in like 2 years and a week ago I started to again. I got all kinds of new appreciation for them now, I look at their songs much differently in a much more musical way. When I was young I think I just liked them cause they are funny and crazy and their lyrics were "silly". Now I really appreciate the talent and instrumentation and songwriting of it.

Speaking of Manson, personally I love his/their song "The Apple of Sodom" the best. Such a good, creepy song. I'll never forget when I first heard of Manson (circa 1995/96) in my friends Dodge Shadow full blast. He had giant 15's. The first track of Portrait of an American Family was so awesome (the Willy Wonka quote).
