that smashing pumpkins cover is great, i forgot that it was on this, i bought it when it was released on the rocket single, as a bside. it is a good track, but unfortunately i never got into smashing, only mellon collie.

I don't like them either. Dishwalla that is.

Speaking of Depeche Mode, they are playing tonight in Dallas. Will let you know how the show was if anyone is interested.

I haven't heard any depeche mode since "Violator" but I would like to know how this new singer does.

that last I heard, there original singer O'D'd on drugs...this was years ago..so I was just curious as to how the replacement sounded...in comparison. I don't know if you guys saw, or watched Rockstar:INXs but I totally disagreed with their pick of JD Fortune. he may have sounded like Michael Hutchence, he did sound like the original but, I think this was their chance to reinvent their selves as a new entity in rock. if they had picked marty, I'm sure things would've been better, Rolling Stone gave them a star and a half for this recent record. if you didn't watch though. I probably sound like a total nerd.

i think your thinking of a different 80's band, inxs were a band, their singer died, they had a reality show to replace him

depeche mode still have david gahan(sp) the original singer.

I particularly like Veruca Salt's rendition of "Somebody." I like it's subtle feel, and the way it speaks about what I also want in sombody.

heh, sorry I should have started a new paragraph, I was originally talking about the lead singer for depeche mode. who O'd on drugs a few years back. but then on sort of a side subject I was curious as to if anyone saw Rockstar INXS. Only because they had the similar situation of losing their lead singer. sorry for the confusion.
