Where can I get the mantis logo? I can't seem to find it anywhere online. the one I did find was way to small to view.

any help is appreciated!

everywhere. there are some large ones in the thread marked "new cover (tribute)."

I wish those were more clear. I am looking to get it as a tat for my 30th bday.

Yeah we don't have any good ones really... We need some photoshop expert to create a new vector based graphic on this look and shape ... That way it could be resized and colored as needed.

Greg this is much better. I'll see what I can do with it but we definitely need to get better ones! Thanks!

redoing vector is a pain in the ass
but when ever i get the right software and enough time i might make a new one

I was going through my backups and found the original vector path I drew to create the wallpaper of the glossy red mantis on the gray brushed metal background back in 2001.

I've uploaded an EPS of that mantis onto my server for you guys to download here:

It's not as detailed as the original mantis, but it worked ok for what I wanted to do with the wallpaper art.

Please feel free to use the eps in the cover art, I'd be happy to see it go to good use.

My band Empty started working on a cover for the tribute CD last year, but never got around to finishing it. Is there anymore space and if so, when's the deadline?

The track was a cover of Lonely Again, which can be heard here:

The vocals will mostly need to be re-recorded, but you get the idea.. let me know
