i really think some punk ass labeled these songs wrong, then someone downloaded em from napster thinkin they were really glu:

1 dont you (forget about me) - sounds like some marylin manson copycat
2 i dont believe in love - sounds like Seal
3 reading rainbow - maybe some kid remixed this and put glu there... wtf

1 is Life of Agony (which had a CD before GLU and MM)...
I thought someone said 3 was done by a band called GLU...we refer to God Lives Underwater as the acronym GLU, but supposedly GLU was their name.

Yeah there were lots of errors on Napster.... Life of Agony did Don't you forget about me...... Reading Rainbow might be God Lives Underwater.... That we still aren't too sure though.....

most of us are sure about reading rainbow, it shouldn't be on the ftp... theres a topic about it somewhere, but the links provide enough insight that it isn't god lives underwater, but a band whose name is GLU.

I'll admit I'm the one who uploaded the "reading rainbow" thing to the FTP account.

I wasn't sure of it's origin but you're joke is correct, I got it off of Napster years ago (when Napster was a free-for-all rogue service).

SilverCrank, until you have some hard proof, please don't delete a song off the FTP, aggressive deletion is as bad (or worse) of a service as the person who promotes mis-credited music.

Anything that's known to be incorrect, delete away. Until I hear something decent (unfortunately the only person know who's for sure if 'Reading Rainbow' is legit or not isn't with us anymore) I'm still on the "it might be a random un-released track from GLU" boat.

Wonder how much stuff there really is sitting around somewhere that we have never heard.

I think lots of stuff is out there we don't know about.... Tommy said that in the old board that Dave recorded or/and remixed songs for other bands when he was high and he doesn't remember doing some of them.... So imagine how many tracks are out there that we don't know about..... Reading Rainbow I think can be answered by Jeff..... Well I imagine so......

That's what I was referring to in my 1st post in this thread. So not only did they ignore the thread where it was already discussed, but they then ignored my post about it, too. Some people just want to believe anything no matter what you tell them.
