just about anyone can acquire a mechanical license, artist or label.. it's not too hard.. basically you just have to talk to the people at EMI get the paperwork and pay them 8 Cents a CD (Per song)

As you know already I am stepping down from the band I currently play in for other projects.... One of which I am going to start my own Production Company in where I will use this company for throwing shows and ofcourse for supporting the Tribute Cd that we are putting together.... Nothing big nor glamorous but it should work out..... I already had a couple of meetings with my accountant and lawyer to start with this decision.... At this point the tribute will be a free cd to skip out on the legal side of it.... Also please let me know on any ideas that we can use for the tribute album art.... I want LOD to do it but I want us all to decide on the cover art and so forth.... Like always just pm me or email me on myspace for any ideas.... Thanks...

i was thinking of maybe a clean pic of someone's mantis tat. but i think we should come up with a definite title for it first.

I'm slightly confused as to how it is going to sound completed (with vocals), so I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
