There are quite a few songs that give me chills, BUT one in particular more than any other.
Its called 'Makebelieve' by a band called Prick.
Listen to it. I HIGHLY recommend it. Just crank it up loud and listen to the lyrics. I would post the lyrics, but its not the same as actually listening to it. The song is so blunt about what #### things really are. It just sums up life. Nobody in my opinion has said it better than Kevin McMahon in that song.
Maybe you'll agree, maybe you won't. Just give it a try though. Just to warn you, his voice is a bit different than most singers.

I love Prick. I have both of his albums, both very good. I consider him to be very similar to GLU. Makebelieve is a great song.

Nice!
Glad you guys have both heard of them. I love both the albums. I got to see them twice about two years ago. Kevin McMahon doesn't play very often anymore though, unfortunately.

medicatedtotheoneilove wrote:My favorite creepy soundtrack is definitely A Clockwork Orange. Proto-electronic classical music, wow what a genre. I love the title theme song, it's probably my favorite electronic song ever.
if you find that soundtrack creepy, try to buy anything by wendy carlos, she is the composer of that music, and as far as i know - she is the only person to make that type of electronic classical music, i recomment, beauty in the beast, very creepy but also very fu ck ing awesome.

Prong is so unbelievably lame in a cool way.
Their drummer used to be in a band I really like called the Swans.

Are you asking about why Prick (Kevin McMahon) isn't really doing much anymore? If so, there was relatively poor turnout (as in one show I went to of theirs had literally 30-40 people there, at a bigger venue) and from my understanding he's just an odd guy.

Did you know Wendy Carlos used to be Walter Carlos until he/she had a sex change? I'm not kidding. It's true.
I love the movie A Clockwork Orange!

Dude are you sure?
I heard that Walter Carlos died and Wendy inherited his music, and uses her name on it now.
