ya i used an emulator and if you want it full speed you meed a halfway good computerRed mantis wrote:Anybody know how to get a Ps1 disc to play on on a computer? Does it have to be emulated?
Actually, ya, you should. they make good little media centers and there is lots of homebrew emulation and projects. The Xbox is basically a 733MHz Celeron PC, with a Geforce 4, 64mb of ram, and a 10 gb hard drive, with DVD drive. It's a granny PC...but it can do quite a bit.draven wrote:Damn... Xbox can do almost anything... lol I should get mine modded...
hurray for "granny PC"!!! ...for a while i was stuck with a worse pc than that (pentium 2 @ 350MHz and 128 sdram) and it ran xp, firefox, and played movies and music great with vlc. so that should work fineVertigo wrote:Actually, ya, you should. they make good little media centers and there is lots of homebrew emulation and projects. ePSXe is by far the most advanced. It requires plugins and a bit of GUI assisted configuration, but it will provide the best/most compatible experience.Red mantis wrote:Can anybody direct me to a decent PS 1 emulator? or hook me up with a disk image of the PC version?
