bobnugget wrote:"Like I said, the Tribute CD was a donation from Randy because he believed in where the money was going for the Mantis Package sales... and you sent me a message telling me how much it will cost me to buy all the copies I need to send out to the people who are waiting for it."

well everyone who bought the Mantis package is out of luck. Brian/jawa thinks 100$ is too much to pay for 50 professional copys sent to the people who PAID in cash years ago.
i finally get it done....
cheap. thats all i have to say.
I never said these people werent getting a copy... in fact their copies should have started arriving in yesterday's mail (with a letter if explanation).

and:

Dont EVER post something that I send you in a private message on this forum again

and its funnt that I sent you a PM that took me an hour to write, that is pretty much a 2 page letter and in it I comend you MULTIPLE times and give you all the credit in the world... dont I? Funny you didnt post those PARAGRAPHS on here but the one #### sentence that could be taken out of contex.

I am done with you.

this money #### every time we do anything here has ruined this board.

great that we have How Humans Rx out. Finally. But, nothing else should have been solicited here. I understand that the cash went to a good cause or whatever, but it seems like there is nothing new or exciting to discuss that doesn't involve money anymore, and that has clearly created hostility. A lot more so than is publicly displayed. There are a ton of good things we have done as a community, and quite a few shady things. I appreciate all the hard work people have put in on the various projects, but I have seen other boards do similar things (see Eels), free of money, and succeed peacefully. It's kind of sad, being that I have been a member here (and on the old boards) for 6+ years now. I spent months with Randy on this board when there was NO ONE else here, years ago, when we first discussed a tribute, and we never once brought up money. Because owing people money ruins everything. It's that simple. The tribute should have had nothing to do with your book, Brian. In fact, the only thing that should have, was your book. The bootlegged shows and all the other nonsense, man, I would have been pissed if I paid that much money for a handful of cd-rs. But, you know, that's why I didn't.

I have other thoughts on the subject, but nothing that needs to be displayed publicly. Anyway, I am rambling, the point of this whole message is to say, money ruined this board for me, so adios.

I completely agree with this statement... and the tribute only had something to do with the book because Randy contacted me and wanted to make a "package" deal... thats all, nothing further, like you said; its that simple.

AND thats why there was never going to be a money exchange between me and Randy for the Tribute CD to be included with the book... you have sucessfully proved EXACTLY what I was trying to get across in my PM, and I thank you.

I'm glad someone else understands my fursterations with what avenue this went down.

myself and everybody who DID WORK FOR FREE. because its not a labor of love, nor dedication to a great man, its about a quick buck in the end.
I know for a FACT you are not talking about me here... remember, I have not made 1 penny on the book, How Humans Rx or the extra cds or all the stuff on iTunes... in fact, I am out about $1200 OF MY OWN MONEY over the last 3 years because it was a labor of love and dedication to a friend.

Thats a lot of money, but never once have I flaunted that or complained about it... have I?

Everytime you post something incorrect about me I will rebutt with the truth... sorry.
