The chicken shack...never really got into them too much so I will be interested to see what and how they do GLU...the only song of theirs I ever really dug was HIGH

Does it really realllly reeeealllly matter if they pick a song already taken..I mean they are major label and we are just wee..but then again

oh also, I think I might do a final final mix on the cover I did. If ANYONE seriously has any suggestions on tweaks etc feel free to let me know. I mean now that we got some label whores (no offense to anyone on labels or not) on the roster I wanna step up my game a little more. Also if this brings about anyone looking for feedback, assistance or contributions or anything I am available to listen and or help out.

Yeah I feel like I need to bring my A game as well. I'm definitely going to use this extra month to get it right

Ouch. That's only a month. I hope you're giving all the stragglers a friendly ass kicking to motivate them.

Jawa242 wrote:(ps - the discontent w/Stabbing Westward came due to the fact that David thought the song "What Do I Have To Do" was a direct rip off from "Weaken"... this whole situation is discussed in the book.)
does that mean you won't elaborate here? I'm just curious because WDIHTD was a song the drummer brought with him from Exotic Birds to SW when he joined them...it was a song Exotic Birds demoed in 1990 IIRC...so my point is if anything, that song was originally written before Weaken (I assume...or at least before anyone heard Weaken)...obviously, SW must have changed parts so perhaps they added something that David thought was ripoff of Weaken. I just listened to Weaken and I don't hear it, but then again I don't know much about writing/playing music.

I was hoping that it was 3rd Bass. It'd be pretty sick if Robbie Williams did a track too.

you tube video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJYBx5NJULY
Trent shows up around 1:20 - wait til you see the hair! It's hilarious!

About the SW slam - very possible as Andy Kubiszewski(part of the founding of EB) went on to play drums for SW.

personally, and I'll probably be slain for this, but I have thought that SW was pretty #### good, for a long time. The first three records (ungod, WBB&P, Darkest Days) are pretty much incredible, maybe not lyrically, but musically, definently.
