One hurdle after another here.
I just talked to my drummer who is 'busy every weekend in December' supposedly, and isn't too fond of the song 'Fool'. I am doing this damn thing whether he cooperates and plays drums or I have to sit there and program all the damn drums myself (that is as soon as I get my computer up and running). I have worked with this guy in bands for the past 12-15 years and NOW he decides to be difficult. Go figure.
Why are drummers such difficult people?

I know. That sucks :(
We'll see what happens with him. In the meantime I fully plan on programming the ####.

Hey worst case scenerio is you do a rough version of it and keep notified when you do a good copy.... Thats what I am doing..... I am recording a rough one first just to show the way my cover will be and then I will do it better with my friends equipment so I can record it professionally....

Will do. My computer should be fixed sometime next week (unfortunately I have to go out of town once again for work so that slows things once again). I just have some luck!
