Not that I'm a purist by any means, I have the mouth of a sailor, but I think the lack of cussing is vastly overrated, what ever happened to just enjoying the music?

Are we really so immature that the lack of cussing takes away from the music? It's not like we have the poor censor beeps/silence ...

"God Lives Underwater... Jeff Turzo leaves [them] in the dust"

Those are mighty strong words to paste, especially on a GLU forum. No wonder the previous WaW discussion got locked. :P

Despite, I do like the WaW album, yes it has a strong pop feel, and I don't like some of the singing, it still ...

Where are the 'How Human Rx' preview tracks?

I've noticed in a few topics that people mention there were preview/instrumental tracks of How Human Rx album but I didn't find a link in any topic nor anywhere on the FTP.

Anybody care to tell me where they are?

If you want to learn how to create some original sounds, I recommend you search for a copy of Buzz (it's a freeware app) but expect a HUGE learning curve.

It's worth it as you create "machines" in the program that make original sounds. There are also hundreds of pre-made machines you can download ...

I'll admit I'm the one who uploaded the "reading rainbow" thing to the FTP account.

I wasn't sure of it's origin but you're joke is correct, I got it off of Napster years ago (when Napster was a free-for-all rogue service).

SilverCrank, until you have some hard proof, please don't delete a song ...

A tribute CD??? Are you proposing on selling it? We're all online here, wouldn't it make sense to just provide links to low quality (192kbit) and high quality (256kbit+) MP3s?

Second, if you're making a CD, you might as well use full quality tracks, which means WAV or some other non compressed ...

The Rush is Loud http://www.neskimos.com/misc/nasatravelagency-rushisloud.mp3 Harder than the original, with a tangential ending.
I have to agree with a previous poster.... best cover by a long shot. I'd love to hear you do "Vapors", one of my favorite GLU tracks and one of my top 5 songs of all ...

About double damaging, I think you're wrong. I've down coded many mp3s, for example 256 to 192, it just brings the quality down to 192, it's not like it's hacking the quality in half every time you encode it. I don't know, you could be right but I've down coded a lot of stuff and haven't realized ...

Now someone please post the full 192kbps Fluzee rip!!
I was going to mention this before but I bit my tongue (beggars can't be choosers eh?).

For anybody that doesn't realize it, 128kbit is NOT quality audio. It may sound fine on your crappy computer speakers or headphones but there is a strong ...

Wow, I only just found out last night, 3 weeks late!

I only found out because I got on USENET into the Goth-Industrial section and somebody posted all of those unreleased songs with RIP in front. I jumped on Google news and found out, then obviously came here next.

This guy couldn't ever catch a ...

New songs added

I just created & added 9 songs to the /Audio/Remixs/ folder of stuff I had. I apologize in advance if anything in there is available on a purchasable record.

Also thanks to whoever posted those quality versions of UOTF as I was not happy with the album version, in fact I was pretty vocal about the ...

As somebody who does a fair amount of sound enginering here's my $.02...

Standard computer speakers and standard headphones won't let you notice the lack of quality in a high quality lossy format (MP3, AAC, OGG). As long as you rip music at 192kbit or better with a good MP3 codec (ex: Lame MP3) you ...
